During the American tour of their latest movie “A la recherche de l‘Ultra-Sex”, the exuberant duo Nicolas Charlet and Bruno Lavaine (creators of “Messages à caractère informatif” on Canal+ in the 90s) developed for the first time a series of highly amusing and absurd photos capturing a hero – the Robot Daft Peunk (all resemblance to the French DJ duo is purely by chance). Inspired by a space porno from 1977, this lampshade-headed android arrives on Earth and discovers a world populated by aliens living grotesque everyday lives.
Working in collaboration with the artists specifically for the occasion, Atelier Relief offers an immersion into the universe of the Robot Daft Peunk.
16/03 — 15/04/2017[:fr]Pendant la tournée américaine de leur dernier film « A la recherche de l‘Ultra-Sex », les délirants Nicolas Charlet et Bruno Lavaine (créateurs des « Messages à caractère informatif » sur Canal+ dans les années 1990) développent pour la première fois une série de photos à l‘humour absurde prenant pour héros le Robot Daft Peunk (toute ressemblance avec un duo de DJ français serait purement fortuite). Inspiré d‘un porno spatial de 1977, cet androïde à tête d‘abat-jour débarque sur Terre et découvre un monde peuplé d‘aliens au quotidien ubuesque.
Atelier Relief propose une immersion dans l‘univers du Robot Daft Peunk et a travaillé pour l‘occasion à une collaboration avec les artistes.
